Denes Koromzay

Hungarian violinist Denes Koromzay died on 15 July 2001 in Colorado, USA, aged 88. Koromzay was a founder member of the Hungarian String Quartet and, when the group disbanded in 1972, played with the New Hungarian Quartet.

Born in Arad, Koromzay studied at the Franz Liszt Academy, and later emigrated to the USA, living in Colorado from 1962.
