Yaltah Menuhin (1921-2001)
The pianist Yaltah Menuhin died on 9 June 2001, aged 79. Sister of violinist Yehudi Menuhin, who died in 1999, Yaltah studied with Marcel Ciampi, Carl Friedberg and Armando Silvestri. She gave regular concerts, including a programme of Chopin and Debussy in England, just a few days before her death.
