Funicello's set was breathtakingly beautiful and Cho's costumes exquisitely detailed. Mary Dunleavy sang Donna Clara, the Infanta, with silken soprano tones. As her attendant, Ghita, Susan B Anthony used her powerful distinctive voice to maximum effect. Roderick Dixon was clad in a spectacular outfit. Only the hump on his back marked him as different from the courtiers. Dixon sang passionately with wonderful colors in his expressive tenor voice. He immediately won over the audience and there were handkerchiefs to be seen at the finale.
