In New Zealand Radojkovic was willing to rehearse between times on a poorly maintained Welmar upright rather than interrupt her strict practice regime.

Her programme was daunting indeed; beginning with Bach's 6th Partita in E minor ... a performance combining beautifully poised repose and firmly sculpted nobility. Masterton's critic called it 'powerful and grand' and later eight-year-old Natalie Brazier (chosen to present flowers to Radojkovic) wrote 'she made the piano dance.'

The Bach was followed by a stormy account of Beethoven's 'Appassionata' Sonata. This was dramatic, highly charged stuff, and it left the audience full of anticipation for what was yet to come.
