Wexford, which takes place each October, also stages three piano-accompanied additional operas in the attractive barn of nearby White's Hotel (this year, La Traviata, The Marriage of Figaro and Gershwin's Porgy and Bess). The extensive series of Lieder recitals given by members of the casts and chorus to coincide with the annual Wexford Festival is worthy of London's Wigmore Hall.
