Music for flute and piano -
heard by the late HOWARD SMITH'... eminently commendable.'

Odinn Baldvinsson studied at Trinity College and the London College of Music. A winner of several competitions, he gave his recital debut in Reykjavik, Iceland. British-Mexican accompanist Patricia Romero was a student of Kentner (1905-1987) and the Divine Art team has been performing together as a flute and piano duo for two years, with this their first recording.
The problem for anyone eager to add this music to CD collections is that these twentieth century sonatas are also available in definitive performances on EMI with Berlin Philharmonic principal flute, Emmanuel Pahud (born Geneva, 1970): the Poulenc (with pianist Eric le Sage) and Prokofiev (featuring Stephen Bishop-Kovacevich)...
