Previously unknown to me, Pamela J Marshall (born 1954) is on the board of the International Alliance for Women in Music, and is active as a performing musician, composer and teacher. Whilst I would not buy this disk, it contains some good pieces, and I would like to hear some of her other works.
The first piece, Through the Mist (1993), is inspired by a New Hampshire Lake, where Marshall's family had a rustic cabin. 'Ashuelot Sunrise', inspired by morning mist over the lake, is 'mood music'...
