As the Christmas discs start rolling in, one is usually spoilt for choice regarding music for this time of the year. So when this fabulous disc popped through my letterbox, I was more than enthused by the prospect of the Merton College Choir singing select pieces in relation to Advent.
The first six pieces are varied and include music by Matthew Martin, William Byrd, James MacMillan and Michael Praetorius...
