Second prize-winner in the 2009 Haverhill Sinfonia International Soloist Competition, Australian-born pianist Michael Ierace is clearly a talent to watch.
His diffident platform manner was belied by playing that completely held the attention, with a seemingly unlimited supply of energy (Derby Chamber Music, Multi-Faith Centre, Derby University, Derby, UK, 3 December 2010).
