Pinchas Zukerman and the Royal Philharmonic
Since his appointment in 2009 as the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra's Principal Guest Conductor, Pinchas Zukerman has obviously established a relationship of considerable warmth and rapport with his players. This came across strongly from their Nottingham concert (Royal Concert Hall, Nottingham, UK, 7 May 2010), part of their current short UK tour.
Following Rossini's Barber of Seville overture, played with verve and sparkle, Zukerman was soloist and director in Beethoven's Violin Concerto...
