David Raskin
The well-known American film composer David Raskin died on 9 August 2004. He was 92. Among others, Raskin wrote the film music for Charlie Chaplin's Modern Times and the 1983 blockbuster The Day After. Overall, Raskin, who was born in Philadelphia on 4 August 1912, has composed music for more than one hundred and seventy movies and television shows.
