13 April 2008: Les Charactères de la dance, Oksana Delaforge and Matthieu Delaforge, France, harpsichord, Fabien Rousell, France, violin at the Kadriorg Palace, Tallinn

This concert was particularly appropriate to the grand salon of the Kadriorg Palace where Peter the Great would have held court and dancing would have taken place.

This was a particularly 'up beat' concert with the concept of the dance carried through into the performance. There was a positive coordination between the players that made the ensemble very acceptable and outgoing, giving meaning to the title of the concert which was 'Les caracteres de la dance'. The lively nature of the music came across in a delightful manner. We will certainly hear more of this group in the future.
