Ragtime is used to introduce the soloists and the recording engineer in a rather self conscious 'behind the scenes' display.

It is visually captivating, though as usually happens in a combined experience of sound and vision, vision wins. There are certainly stretches of mesmerising imagery during which the music recedes to what is, with this music, an inappropriate background. Altogether an impressive production with excellent performances.
