To ensure these wondrous results BIS assembled a team of the top accompanying musicians in the business. Working hand-in-glove with the soloist they provide varying period-oriented instrumental configurations and a number of protracted tuttis.

Laurence Cummings, MA (Oxon), ARCM, FRCO, HonRAM is harpsichordist, organist, and conductor; Head of Historical Performance at the Royal Academy of Music, Trustee of the Handel House Museum and Musical Director of the London Handel Orchestra.

Elizabeth Kenny (archlute and theorbo) is a principal player in the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, yet she frequently appears with other leading period instrument groups. Elizabeth devised and produced an Elizabethan pageant for the Royal Academy of Music (where she is Professor of Lute) and the City of London Festival.

Anne-Marie Lasla (bass viol) is acclaimed for her work with French ensembles, Les Arts florissants and Seminario Musicale.

Sarah Sexton (violin 1), a member of The King's Consort, has also played with Christ Church Baroque Orchestra and the London Handel Orchestra. Sarah presented recitals via Lyric FM and Classic FM.

Andrea Morris (violin 2) has frequently worked with I Fiori Musicali and Metronome.

Jane Rogers (viola), a member of The Purcell Quartet, also works with The Bach Players and The Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra.
