The performance was notable also for the participation of the Vilar Young Artists; the Officer, Hubert Francis, and the Wigmaker, Jared Holt, were members as was the Naiad, Ha Young Lee. Also members were the assistant director, Andre Heller-Lopes, and a member of the music staff, Yuval Zorn. An admirable way to enable members of the scheme to gain valuable stage experience.

By the end of the evening all thoughts of Deborah Voight were put behind us by the dramatically and musically stunning performance (though I would still dearly love to hear Voight in the role in London).
