<< -- 4 -- Gordon Rumson THE TIDE IS TURNING
Patrick Harrex says, 'We are delighted that New Music Brighton
is able to put on the first performances of these wonderful quartets.
Having been out of favour for nearly a quarter of a century, musicians
around the world are beginning to rediscover the significance
and sheer beauty of Denis ApIvor's works. This is going to be
a very exciting occasion and it is already attracting interest
not only from around the UK, but also from overseas. These quartets
are among the best of the works written for the medium during
the last century.'
