Medieval Music and Arts Foundation
The largest resource of the Medieval Music and Arts Foundation
is the 'Early Music FAQ' - a volunteer effort by newsgroup and internet
users. The FAQ is at www.medieval.org/emfaq
and contains over 3000 individual pages, and more than 1600 links to other
Early Music web sites.
Grateful Dead
A recent announcement from the Grateful Dead announced that the
band is to let its fans swap on-line recordings of live performances, legally.
With internet distribution of pirate recordings increasing (mostly in MP3
format) and threatening to destroy the CD market, it is predicted that even
the major record labels may have to allow such swapping of recordings. More
