The lengthy notes with this release are set in a microscopic font. So I looked elsewhere for a basic Burkard Schliessmann biography to complement MSR's grandiose 2010 twofer and came across the following: 'For Bayer Records he has recorded Schumann, Chopin, Liszt, Godowsky and Bach's Goldberg Variations. He attended master-classes of artists such as Herbert Seidel, Shura Cherkassky, Bruno Leonardo Gelber and Poldi Mildner.'
