I hope Martyn Brabbins and the BBC National Orchesta of Wales felt that their feathered and furry colleagues gave them full value in the 'wild soundscapes' part of this CD. I think my beloved cat, when on the tiles, might well have been more arresting, to say nothing of my Shetland sheepdog when rejoicing to see me. Pairs of gibbons and the chattering birds of Borneo or Sumatra have a certain charm, but are comparatively tame, if they will pardon the word...
