It takes real confidence and determination to bounce back from a major setback just two days before a performance, especially when it means scrapping your entire programme and starting again. Following a hand injury Ji Liu was determined to go ahead with his recital in Nottingham Royal Concert Hall's Sunday morning piano series (Nottingham, UK, 16 November 2014).
