Here's another of the legions of concert violinists now in their twenties or thirties and hotfooting it on international tours and to periodic recording sessions.
Yoon-Hee Kim is soloist with the renowned Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, one of some five London orchestras who could almost perform Khachaturian and Tchaikovsky concertos blindfolded. After all the Royal Phil have been tackling a colossal symphonic repertoire ever since the tenure of their famed founder, Sir Thomas Beecham.
Of course today practically every serious soloist tackles the Khachaturian (1940) and Tchaikovsky (1878) concertos...
