Schoenbergian Gospel?
Concertos by Krzysztof Penderecki -
recommended by RON BIERMAN'... an exceptionally worthwhile release.'

Krzysztof Penderecki was heavily influenced by Berg and Boulez. After the success of his Threnody for the Victims of Hiroshima he was, for a time in the 1960s, one of the most performed avant-garde composers. Threnody includes aleatory passages, microtonality, dissonance and unusual violin effects. What more could the academic community ask?..
