The first of this season's Sunday morning's piano recitals at the Royal Concert Hall (Nottingham, UK, 20 October 2013) was given by Israeli pianist Ishay Shaer.
Brahms' transcription of the Chaconne from J S Bach's D Minor Partita matches the violinistic challenge of the original with a pianistic one, being cast for left hand alone.
