As the first part of my interview with Nuvi Mehta ended, we discovered he won't be going with the San Diego Symphony on its trip to China. There isn't a great demand for an English-language pre-lecture in Yantai, even if it is San Diego's Sister City. Furthermore, Mehta has a special Symphony series to organize and additional projects as Music Director of the Ventura Music Festival.
