Vivaldi wrote three Dixit Dominus each in D; the first RV 595, the second for double choir RV 594 from 1720 or the 1730s, the third RV 807 discovered in Dresden by Australian Dr Janice (Jan) B Stockigt -- MusBac MMus PhD FAHA; Honorary Principal Fellow.

Stockigt completed her doctoral thesis 'The Vespers Psalms of Jan Dismas Zelenka (1679-1745) in the Liturgy and Life of the Dresden Catholic Court Church' at the University of Melbourne in 1994.

This work was awarded the inaugural Chancellor's Prize, and the Harbison-Higinbotham Research Scholarship for 1994. Between 1997 and early 2000, as a Post-doctoral Fellow of the Australian Research Council, Stockigt wrote Jan Dismas Zelenka (1679-1745) A Bohemian Musician at the Court of Dresden (OUP, November 2000) which was awarded the Derek Allen Prize for 2001 by the British Academy, and the inaugural Woodward Medal for a significant contribution in the area of humanities at the University of Melbourne...
