Ebullient Temperament
Unfamiliar delights from Trio Solis -
recommended by PATRIC STANDFORD'... a superb recording of very fine ensemble playing.'

The bright young American 'sunshine' group, Trio Solis, came together in 2008 led by the violinist Corinne Stilwell, a former assistant concertmaster of the Rochester Philharmonic, with cellist Gregory Sauer, founder and director of Chamber Music Quad Cities, and New Zealand pianist Read Gainsford, a former advanced post graduate student of the Guildhall School of Music in London. All teach at the Florida State University music school from which base they radiate outwards all over the US and much further. They deserve the ever-widening reputation, not only for their enthusiastic virtuosity, but also for the enterprise with which they put together agreeably entertaining and occasionally challenging programmes. No doubt personality can be infectious, and the ebullient temperament that emanates from this recording of unfamiliar delights will surely assist their climb to even greater exposure...
