Café Mozart proprietor Derek McCulloch studied singing in Stuttgart in the 1960s. His doctoral thesis (1990) focused on aristocratic composers in the eighteenth century. McCulloch explores neglected repertoire of the late eighteenth century, especially minor composers from English and German language areas.
