One's first reaction on thinking about Moses in Egypt is to wish he had stayed there and refrained from inflicting on its hospitable people such a series of loathsome plagues. But when hearing that this DVD is set in the modern Middle East, the question immediately arises whether Pharaoh may not turn out to be a sort of posthumous Adolf Hitler. Yet all assumptions are immediately overturned when the permanent backdrop to the stage set turns out to be the Israeli apartheid wall. Who are the victims now?..
