Taormina Teatro Antico's 'Norma' in HD,

On 12 August 2012, Emerging Pictures' Opera in Cinema transmitted a performance of Vincenzo Bellini's opera Norma from the Teatro Antico in Taormina, Sicily, to theaters around the world. The original performance had occurred a month earlier. The Greeks probably built the antique Sicilian theater, which dates back to the third century before the Common Era, but its brickwork shows that the Romans also worked on it. It stands on a hill overlooking the sea and the view from it is wonderful...
