New York Metropolitan Opera in HD,

The last of the 2011-2012 high definition transmissions of live performances from the stage of the Metropolitan Opera took place on 14 April 2012. Unfortunately, the Willy Decker production of La traviata was something of a let down after the fascinating Manon of the previous week. There may once have been a living model for Manon but we do not know who she was. We do know a great deal about Violetta in La traviata...
