These newly remastered Hélène Grimaud recordings on Dal Segno are something of a retrospective devoted to Rachmaninov. They first appeared on a five CD Denon Records collection, then were transferred to a five-disc boxed set by Brilliant Classics (CD92437, DDD, 2003) and now the Rachmaninov items are on Dal Segno DSPRCD063 (2011).

So where to from here?

Grimaud has also recorded the second Concerto with Ashkenazy and the Philharmonia Orchestra (Teldec CD84376, DDD, 2001) and with the Lucerne Festival Orchestra and conductor Claudio Abbado (DGG DVD 001346909, Live, 2008)...
