Mathieu Dufour, who became principle flutist of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra at just twenty-five, glides through these pieces with enviable ease. You may find comparable performances, but it's unlikely you'll find better ones. So that leaves just the question of whether or not you need one or more of the works for your library. Fauré's is the most likely already there...
