An Engrossing Performance
Bach's 'St John Passion'
from the Richard Roddis Singers,

Three years ago the Derwent Singers performed J S Bach's St John Passion in Derby with Richard Roddis singing the role of the Evangelist and conducting the chorales and the major choruses, with the rest entirely unconducted. This time it was the turn of the Richard Roddis Singers to pull off the same feat in performances at Wirksworth Parish Church and, two days later, Derby Cathedral (Derby, UK, 22 April 2011).
