Benjamin Frith saves the day,

It's bad enough having to arrange a stand-in for a performer who has to pull out at the last minute, but to be then faced with having to find a stand-in for the stand-in can't have done much for anyone's peace of mind.
So three cheers, on that count alone, to Benjamin Frith, giving the second Sunday morning recital in the current piano series at Nottingham's Royal Concert Hall (Nottingham, UK, 5 December, 2010).
He opened with Scarlatti's Sonata in D, K492, capturing hatfuls of Spanish colour...
