Ask Alice, with Alice McVeigh

On the gooey bits of pigeons and Bach's B minor Mass,
with classical music agony aunt ALICE McVEIGH

Ask Alice

Alice Dear readers,

Who'd have a cat???

The lovely Topaz (next door's cat, a sensational amalgam of cream, brown and mink) is the one I've been looking after for over ten years now -- not that a decade has diminished in the least her cut and thrust.

I went in this eve, musing to self as to whether to give her (a) roast salmon and tempura shrimp with a hint of avocado, (b) stuffed monkfish avec pâté de foie gras or (c) whatever else the wildly top-priced catfood companies provide and my next-door neighbours are only too eager to supply...
